What is CSIA's mission?
The mission of CSIA is to foster innovation and a positive growth environment to enable the technology industry in Colorado to compete on a global basis. CSIA is the voice of Colorado’s information technology community, connecting member companies in their fields and building recognition of Colorado's IT industry as a global leader in technology development and application.

Who can join CSIA?
Membership is open to all software, hardware, e-commerce, digital media, and technology companies and all IT departments in non-technology companies. We also offer service memberships to economic development agencies, industry trade organizations, universities, government agencies, chambers of commerce and non-profit organizations. Business Membership is available to advisors of technology companies (such as accounting firms, marketing firms, etc.).

Why should my company join CSIA?
With the support and participation of our members, CSIA provides a variety of compelling programs offering invaluable insight into today's business and technology issues, helping your business gain that crucial competitive edge. What networking opportunities exist at CSIA?
CSIA offers many opportunities to network and interact with industry leaders by attending its programs and events. You'll meet other CSIA member companies and executives that will enable you to create and expand business relationships with current and potential customers, vendors, partners as well as gain referrals.   If you are interested in becoming very involved, we invite all employees of member companies to become involved as a volunteer in planning of our three major events, C-Level @ A Mile High, Apex Awards and DEMOgala or Programs, Membership, Marketing Communications or Public Policy Committees you will also have additional opportunities to work side-by-side and to network with other CSIA members.

What is CSIA's relationship to the Advance Colorado Center?
CSIA is one of the founding organizations in the Advance Colorado Center located in the World Trade Center in downtown Denver.  The Advance Colorado Center is focused on tech-based industry growth, and our other neighbors include the Colorado BioScience Association, Colorado Manufacturing and Technology, and CORE.  Other virtual members include the Colorado Photonics Association, Colorado Nanotechnology Association, Colorado Film Commission and CTEK.


How is CSIA funded?
CSIA receives its revenues through primarily two sources - membership dues,annual investors and events.  Annual investors include:

If I become a member, is my entire company a member?
Yes.  When you join CSIA, you and all of your organization's employees become members, providing all employees at your company the opportunity to take advantage of all that CSIA provides.  You instantly become part of a network of today's business and technology leaders, invited to share or learn hard-won wisdom, industry best practices and competitive views. CSIA members attend CSIA programs and events at drastically reduced rates or free depending on level of membership and sponsorship.

How can I get more involved in CSIA?
CSIA invites you to take full advantage of all of the more than 60 programs, workshops, panels, or sessions to learn, garner important knowledge, increase networking, or become involved as a thought leader.

If you want to be even more involved, join the more than 100 active technology leaders and professionals who volunteer in CSIA's events and initiatives and work side-by-side to create and expand business relationships with other leading technology industry members.
