• 2 tech companies look to bring nearly 1,500 jobs to Denver

Denver’s technology economy is poised to get two potentially big additions — a Colorado firm that is looking to grow by nearly 1,400 jobs and a leading North American wholesale data-center provider that is considering relocating its headquarters to the Mile High City.

Colorado Economic Development Commission members voted to offer incentives Thursday to coax both unidentified companies to commit to growing in the state. The booming local firm also is considering relocating its operations to Arizona or Arkansas, while the national data-center provider is deciding between California, Colorado and Virginia to be its future home.
